What voltage should I use with Gantom fixtures?
All of our DMX controllable spotlights operate on 12-24 VDC, except for CP-7, which exclusively uses 12VDC. Non-DMX units are either 12VDC ONLY or 12-24VDC. You can find the input voltage range for each fixture on the packaging or in the data sheet.
What is the lifetime of your LED fixtures?
All our LED fixtures are rated for over 50,000 hours. They feature internal regulators and thermal engineering to ensure ideal operating conditions for the internal LEDs, significantly extending the lifespan of our fixtures.
How far can your fixtures project?
Gantom fixtures are designed for close-range, controlled light environments. While some fixtures may offer more range, we recommend using them at a distance of 3 to 10 feet (approximately 1-3 meters).
Can I power your fixtures from a battery?
Due to their low wattage and voltage requirements, Gantom fixtures can often run on battery power for a limited time. However, for permanent applications, we strongly recommend a continuous power source.
Can I use your LED fixtures outdoors?
For outdoor applications, many of our fixtures can now meet these requirements. Please contact
sales@gantom.com to find the product that will work best for your specific outdoor application. Be sure to review the Gantom Standard Company Warranty document for any exclusions specific to outdoor installations.
How far can I run wires to the fixtures?
Typically, you can use 18-gauge wire to connect to our fixtures for several hundred feet without worrying about voltage drop. Most of our fixtures have internal regulators to compensate for varying input voltage, so long-distance wiring should not affect brightness. If multiple fixtures run from the same wire, consider using thicker wire to allow for more current flow.
I need documentation or data for a particular fixture.
