System Overview

Gantom GC-series fixtures and accessories use CAT5e or higher cable with RJ45 connectors to carry:

  • Low-voltage power
  • DMX control data

Important:

  • Not Ethernet
  • Not PoE
  • Do not connect to network equipment



Wiring Requirements

  • T-568B termination required
  • CAT5e or higher recommended

(NOTE: Improper wiring may cause damage)

GP002 Field-Terminated Installations

The GP002 G8 Distribution Box supports field-terminated CAT cable installations using Phoenix push-terminal connections.
